# TableColumn Constructor

## Usage

TableColumn(id, name, defaultValue, columnType, maximumSize, enumValues, facetType)

## Arguments

id
The immutable ID issued to new columns (character)
name
The display name of the column (character)
defaultValue
The default value for this column. Columns of type FILEHANDLEID and ENTITYID are not allowed to have default values. (character)
columnType
The type of the column must be from this enumeration. (one of STRING, DOUBLE, INTEGER, BOOLEAN, DATE, FILEHANDLEID, ENTITYID, LINK, LARGETEXT, USERID)
maximumSize
A parameter for columnTypes with a maximum size. For example, ColumnType.STRINGs have a default maximum size of 50 characters, but can be set to a maximumSize of 1 to 1000 characters. (numeric)
enumValues
Columns of type STRING can be constrained to an enumeration values set on this list. The maximum number of entries for an enum is 100 (character)
facetType
Set to one of the enumerated values to indicate this column should be treated as a facet. "Enumeration" will return the most frequently seen values and their counts; selecting these values will cause the table results to be filtered. "Range" will allow the table to be filtered by a chosen lower and upper bound; these bounds are inclusive. (one of enumeration, range)
